To install JP1/Software Distribution Administrator Kit:

1. Log on using the user account with the Administrator permissions.
2. Insert the JP1/Software Distribution Administrator Kit distribution media into the CD-ROM drive.
3. Proceed the installation according to the instructions of the installer.
   Perform the following according to the instructions of the installer:
   
   • Register the user.
     This operation does not apply in Windows 8, Windows Server 2012, Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 and Windows Vista.
     
   • Set the installation path.
   • Set the program folder.

When the installation finishes, the directories shown in Figure 2-1 are created. By default (if you do not change the installation destination directory), the following directories are created in the system-drive\Program Files\Hitachi directory.
