This section describes how to execute asset management jobs that are related to software application.

Software Applied Management enables you to check the application status of the software programs that have been installed on devices. It also enables you to distribute software to selected devices, and to check the status of software distribution.

The jobs related to software applied management are displayed under the Software Applied Management job category. This section describes the operations available from each menu item and shows the windows. Each subsection title shows the selected menu name in parentheses.

Before executing a job from the Software Applied or Distribution Status job menu item, perform the following operations:

• Import the installed software information from the managing server.
• Package the software that is to be distributed.
