COBOL2002は，COBOL2002規格（ISO/IEC 1989:2002）の主な機能に対応しています。COBOL85互換機能（コンパイラオプション）指定時，COBOL2002は，COBOL85規格（ISO85，ANSI85，JIS88，JIS92）の上位水準に準拠します。
