6.9 Configuring the reset path (model HA8000xN or later)
If the model of the system being used is HA8000xN or later, you must configure the reset path so that in the event of a host failure HA Monitor can reset the host.

When a reset path is configured, HA Monitor checks whether it is possible to communicate with a failure management processor and VMware ESXi. Therefore, before you configure a reset path, make sure that:

The settings for a failure management processor and VMware ESXi have been specified completely.

HA Monitor Connector is running.

You use an HA Monitor environment setup command (monsetup command) to configure the reset path. For details about the HA Monitor environment setup command (monsetup command), see 9.22 monsetup (specifies HA Monitor environment settings).
