9.20 monsbystp (terminates a standby server)

Description

The monsbystp command terminates a standby server that is in one of the following statuses:

Note that if you use the monsbystp command to terminate the standby server that corresponds to an active server that is in the restart wait state, the active server in the restart wait state is also terminated automatically.

If the multi-standby function is used, the monsbystp command terminates only the standby server on the host on which the command is executed. Note that the command's processing depends on the status of the standby server, as described below.
