Description
Normally, HA Monitor is connected automatically to the HA Monitors on the remote hosts at the time of startup.
The monlink command connects the HA Monitors manually when automatic connection establishment between the HA Monitors has failed.

After you have executed the monlink command, use the monshow -c or monpath command to check whether connection was established with the remote hosts successfully.
