6.6.2 Multipath control (DMMP) settings (Setting 2)
If the shared disk is connected by multipath routing, make sure that Device Mapper Multipath Tool (DMMP) on the guest OS side controls the multipath routing. A logical path for performing DMMP control on the host OS side cannot be assigned to the guest OS (Setting 2 in the figure in 6.6 Specifying the KVM-based virtualization environment settings).
