4.8.9 Processing flow in the case where hybrid fencing is used

This subsection describes the processing flow when hybrid fencing is used. The processing flow differs depending on whether SCSI reservation for shared disk succeeds and whether the server is operating in the server mode or monitor mode.

Organization of this subsection

(1) In the case where SCSI reservation for shared disk succeeds with hybrid fencing (in the server mode)

The following figure shows the processing flow in the case where SCSI reservation for shared disk succeeds with hybrid fencing (in the server mode).

(2) In the case where SCSI reservation for shared disk succeeds with hybrid fencing (in the monitor mode)

The following figure shows the processing flow in the case where SCSI reservation for shared disk succeeds with hybrid fencing (in the monitor mode).

(3) In the case where SCSI reservation for shared disk fails with hybrid fencing (in the server mode)

The following figure shows the processing flow in the case where SCSI reservation for shared disk fails with hybrid fencing (in the server mode).
