haoralsnrend (Terminates an Oracle listener)

Format

haoralsnrend listener-name

Superuser, Oracle user

Description

Terminates an Oracle listener being monitored by HA Monitor Kit. You can use this command only inside the server termination command. For a description of the server termination command, see 4.3 Server termination command setup.

This command can terminate only those Oracle listeners being monitored by HA Monitor Kit.

Option

listener-name
Specify the listener name of the Oracle listener you want to terminate and have already defined in LISTENER_NAME of the Oracle listener control definition file.

Return value

Value	Meaning
0	Normal termination (The Oracle listener was terminated successfully.)
Other than 0	Abnormal termination
