haoralsnrbgn (Starts an Oracle listener)

Format

haoralsnrbgn listener-name

Superuser, Oracle user

Description

Starts the Oracle listener to be monitored by HA Monitor Kit. You can use this command only inside the server start command. For a description of the server start command, see 4.2 Server start command setup.

This command can start only those Oracle listeners that you have set up to be monitored by HA Monitor Kit.

Option

listener-name
Specify the listener name of the Oracle listener you want to start and have already defined in LISTENER_NAME of the Oracle listener control definition file.

Return value

Value	Meaning
0	Normal termination (The Oracle listener was started successfully.)
Other than 0	Abnormal termination
