Figure 18-3 Structure of the database backup file to Figure 18-7 Data format of the backup RDAREA record show the formats used in the database backup file that is created by the database copy utility. Information in these backup files is used to manage backup generations, such as when a backup management tool is created. These backup file formats are applicable to a HiRDB single server configuration only.
