16.5 Creating a definition SQL from an existing stored procedure

Executor: HiRDB administrator or a user with DBA privilege

The pddefrev command can be used to create a definition SQL from an existing stored procedure. This command is useful for creating a stored procedure that provides a similar function as an existing stored procedure. A definition SQL created with the pddefrev command is used as input information to the database definition utility (pddef command).
