Notes

The DAM service disables access to the specified file upon accepting the damhold command. A file for which deferred updating has been specified is not shut down logically but waits for logical shutdown until the block of the buffer area corresponding to that file is output to a disk. Thus, the logical file cannot be deleted before the block is output a disk. Executing the damrm command results in a command error.
