7.1.8 Reservation of resources for OpenTP1 internal control

The dcmakeup command can be used to reserve OS resources for OpenTP1 internal control. Executing the command reserves resources and stores them under an OpenTP1 directory. How many resources to reserve is determined through analysis of the system definition information under the OpenTP1 directory.

If the value of the prc_process_count operand in the process service definition is changed, the dcsetup command must be executed and then the dcmakeup command executed before using the dcstart command. If the dcmakeup command is not executed, it will be executed at OpenTP1 startup but much time may be required to reserve a sufficient number of resources.
