When you create an OpenTP1 file, you can re-create an existing OpenTP1 file by using the appropriate command options.

The following table shows the combinations of commands and options required for re-creating an OpenTP1 file.

Note
For details about creating an ISAM file, see the manual Indexed Sequential Access Method ISAM.

When you re-create an OpenTP1 file, a new OpenTP1 file is created and the old OpenTP1 file is deleted. Therefore, an unused area for creating an OpenTP1 file is temporarily required. If unused areas are insufficient, an insufficiency error occurs and the re-creation of an OpenTP1 file fails. In this case, use the appropriate command to delete the OpenTP1 file and then execute the appropriate command to create the OpenTP1 file.
