Description

The verification of the existence of the process that is generated after starting the server failed. The server is not running, or the verification of the existence of the process is not performed correctly.

Action

Verify the process with the process ID indicated in message on the host, on which the server is configured.

If the process does not exist, it means that the process is down. Verify the server logs and then identify the cause of the error.

When the process exists, do the following:

  • If the node on which the server is created does not exist on the host of Domain Administration Server (DAS), then there is a possibility of a network problem. Verify the logs that are displayed by the asadmin utility on the DAS and on the node, and then identify the cause of the network problem.

  • If there is no issue with the network or the host of node on which the server is created (is the host of DAS), stop the servers using the stop-servers subcommand of the asadmin utility. If the process still remains after stopping the servers, kill the process from the operating system and then restart the server using the start-servers subcommand of the asadmin utility.
