5.45 Cluster Server tab (Configuration tab)

Use the Cluster Server tab to view the information of the Java EE server(s) associated with the selected cluster and its node. You can create new Java EE servers and delete the existing Java EE server(s) in the selected cluster. You can also start, stop, or restart the selected cluster.

The Cluster Server tab displays the following dynamic items:

Sub title

Displays the name of the selected cluster, server state icon, and server state. The cluster can be in any one of the following states:

  • Working
  • Stopped
  • Partially Running
Server count

Displays (within parentheses) the total number of clustered Java EE servers.

The Cluster Server tab displays the following Server items in a tabular format:

Server Selector

Displays a check box for selecting each clustered Java EE server(s) listed in the Name column. If the header check box of the Server Selector column is selected or cleared, then all the check boxes of the Server Selector column are selected or cleared respectively.

Name

Displays the name (as a link) of the clustered Java EE server. Click this link to display the corresponding clustered Java EE server in the Cluster Java EE General tab. By default, this column is sorted in ascending order.

Node

Displays the node name (as a link) of the clustered Java EE server(s) listed in the Name column. Click this link to display the corresponding node in the Node General pane. This column can be sorted.

The Cluster Server tab displays the following action items:

New button

To create a new Java EE server associated with the selected cluster, click the New button to display the Create New Server dialog box, specify the required details, and then click the OK button.

Delete button

To delete the selected clustered Java EE server(s), click the Delete button to display the Delete Server dialog box, and then click the OK button. By default, this button is disabled. To enable the Delete button, select the Server Selector check box of a clustered Java EE server.

Start Cluster button

To start the selected cluster, click the Start Cluster button to display the Start Cluster dialog box, and then click the OK button.

Stop Cluster button

To stop the selected cluster, click the Stop Cluster button to display the Stop Cluster dialog box, and then click the OK button.

Restart Cluster button

To restart the selected cluster, click the Restart Cluster button to display the Restart Cluster dialog box, and then click the OK button.
