List of pane items

The Heap pane displays the following items:

Heap Usage graph

The Heap Usage graph is a graph of JavaHeap Usage [KB] against time. The Heap Usage graph of Java EE servers is displayed based on the state of the Total graph legend and Java EE server graph legend check boxes. If the monitoring level is OFF for the Java EE server, then the graph of the corresponding Java EE server is not displayed.

Total graph legend

Displays the Total graph legend check box. To display the total Heap Usage graph in the Heap Usage graph display area, select the Total graph legend check box. The Heap Usage graph is the sum of the Java heap memory used by all the Java EE server(s). To hide the total in Heap Usage graph, clear the Total graph legend check box. By default, this check box is selected.

Java EE server graph legend

Displays check boxes for all the clustered and non-clustered Java EE servers, as graph legends. To display the Heap Usage graph of a Java EE server in the Heap Usage graph display area, select the corresponding check box. To hide the Heap Usage graph of a Java EE server, clear the corresponding check box. By default, check boxes of all the clustered and non-clustered Java EE server(s) are selected. The display of Java EE servers depend on the order in which they are received in the response. The sort order is not maintained.

Range selection button

Enables you to view the Heap Usage graph for a particular time in the given range. The available selection range is as follows:

  • Upper bound range: 0 hour(s) before the current time
  • Lower bound range: 12 hour(s) before the current time

Displays the range (as a tool tip) when you click the Range selection button.

The Heap pane displays the following action items:

Hide/Unhide legend button

To hide or display the legends of a graph, click the Hide/Unhide legend button.
