8.5.2 Checking the status of connection to the database server with Administration Console

To check the status of connection from the server instance to the database server with Administration Console, use the JDBC resource Target pane of the Management tab.

Prerequisites

The domain administration server (DAS) is running.
Application Server is running.
The connection from the server instance to the database server is set up.
Administration Console is logged in.

Procedure

Open the Management tab of Administration Console, and click the JDBC resource name link from the tree in the navigation pane.

On the JDBC resource Target pane, check whether the JDBC resource is enabled (Enabled is checked).
