7.4.9 Configuring a debugging environment

You can configure a debugging environment by using the devsetup.bat command.

Prerequisites

The application developer has administrator privileges.
The domain administration server (DAS) is running.
The debugging environment has not been configured.
The name and password of the administrative user have not been changed from the default name and password.

Procedure

To configure a debugging environment, run the devsetup.bat command.
```
installation_directory_for_Application_Server_for_Developers/dev/bin/
devsetup.bat
```
When this command is run, the result is displayed as follows:
```
Execution of the command finished.
```
