4.8.2 Deploying static content on the web server
To deploy static content on the web server, store the content in the document root directory of the web server. By reducing the frequency at which the network is accessed and the size of the data that is sent, the performance of applications will improve.

Store the static content in the document root directory of the web server.
The document root directory of the web server is installation_directory_for_Application_Server/javaee/glassfish/nodes/node_name/web_server_name/root/htdocs.
