This subsection describes the codes used for reporting errors during installation and un-installation.

The following table describes the meaning and action for the codes specific to the products and component software. If the code is not specified in the following table, see the common return codes for products and the common error codes for component software described in Table I-3. Note that if the return code and error code cannot be obtained, ** is output.

With the Application Server and BPM/ESB platform products, when you install a product and after the installation terminates normally, a patch is applied for that product. If an error occurs during the application of the patch, the error code is output after PATCH END in product-installation-directory\install.log. The following table describes the meaning and action for the error codes during patch application.
