3.3.4 Un-installing Application Server (in Linux)
Connect to Application Server to un-install Application Server.

If there are other products that are no longer required apart from Application Server, these products will also be un-installed.
With un-installation, use the product media, PP installer.
This subsection describes the procedure for un-installation. The un-installation operation requires the root permission. For details on the notes on un-installation, see Appendix I.1 Notes on the installation and un-installation of Application Server.
Procedure

Make sure that none of the component software processes are running. If any process is running, stop the process.

Log in to Application Server with the root permission (superuser).

Enter the following command to start the PP installer:
/etc/hitachi_x64setup

In the main menu of the PP installer, press the D key.
The Delete PP window appears.

Move the cursor to the program, and then press the Space key.
Select all the programs (component software supporting Application Server, and the common modules of the products). <@> appears on the left side of the selected program. Note that you can also select and un-install a program.

Make sure that <@> is displayed on the left side of all the programs, and then press the D key.
The message Delete PP? (y: delete, n: cancel)==> appears at the bottom of the window.

Press the y or Y key.
The un-installation process starts.
If you press the n or N key, the un-installation process is cancelled and you return to the Delete PP window.

When the message indicating the end of un-installation is output, press the Q key.
You return to the main menu of the PP installer.

In the main menu of the PP installer, press the Q key.
The un-installation of Application Server finishes.
