2.2.7 Notes on setting up the system environment
Note the following items when setting up the system environment:
-
Only the following users are authorized to execute the Setup Wizard. If unauthorized users execute the Setup Wizard, an error occurs.
-
For Windows
Execute the commands as a user with administrator privileges.
-
For UNIX
Execute the commands as a user with root permission.
-
-
Do not externally terminate the running command by using the Ctrl+C key.
-
If an error occurs during the setup processing, the processing is stopped and the setup failure window appears. In such cases, delete the system being setup, and then execute the setup again. To delete the system being setup, execute uninstall by using the Setup Wizard. For details on the uninstallation procedure, see 3.3.1 Unsetup of the system environment.
-
In the operations of the Setup Wizard, if you do not enter any value and press the Enter key even when you are prompted to enter setting value, the default value is set for that item. If you press the Enter key for the items having no default value, an error occurs and you are again prompted for entering a setting value.
-
When you are prompted to enter a setting value, if you enter a value that cannot be set and press the Enter key, error occurs, and the following window appears.
