3.3.2 Uninstalling
This subsection describes the uninstallation procedure.
- Organization of this subsection
(1) In UNIX
You need superuser permissions to uninstall the program.

Exit the program.

Use Hitachi Program Product Installer to uninstall the program.
(2) In Windows
You need Administrator permissions to uninstall the program.

Exit the program.

In Windows Control Panel, select Add or Remove Programs and then the program you want to uninstall. Click Remove.
(3) Notes on uninstallation

If the services indicated below are running in Windows, stop them before uninstalling APM. If you have accessed Control Panel and then Administrative Tools to open the Service window, close it before uninstalling this program.

Even if you uninstall the program, files, such as log files, that are regarded as user resources might not be deleted. To delete such files, delete them manually from Explorer.

If you are also uninstalling the required software, uninstall APM first.

During uninstallation, the directory under which the product is installed is deleted. Note that the directory cannot be deleted while any files or directories within the directory are being accessed.

You must not interrupt the program while uninstalling APM.
