4.2 Setup for linking JP1/FTP
To define and execute JP1/FTP custom jobs, you must install JP1/FTP on the host where you execute the custom jobs. In addition, to define custom jobs using JP1/AJS3 - View, you have to copy the definition program for JP1/AJS3, which JP1/FTP provides, to the JP1/AJS3 - View host.
The following figure shows an example of a system configuration for linking JP1/FTP.
Commands for operating units while using the automatic startup program registration function of JP1/FTP for UNIX require you to start the JP1/FTP daemon by specifying the following environment variables.
-
JP1FTS_AUTO_UID_OPTION=TRUE
-
JP1FTS_AUTO_STDIO=standard-I/O-file-name and standard-error-output-file-name
The following example shows how to enter these variables:
# JP1FTS_AUTO_UID_OPTION=TRUE # JP1FTS_AUTO_STDIO=/dev/null # export JP1FTS_AUTO_UID_OPTION JP1FTS_AUTO_STDIO # jftsd
The figure below shows the setup procedure for linking JP1/FTP.
