10.6.2 Customizing the Create Job dialog box

(1) Steps

To change the default values of the Create Job dialog box:

1. Select Edit and then Customize in the Job Definition window.

   The Customize Job Definition dialog box appears.

2. Select Create Job dialog box.

   A dialog box named Customize the Create Job Dialog Box appears.

   The page names and item names in the Customize the Create Job Dialog Box dialog box correspond to those in the Create Job dialog box. The values you specify in the Customize the Create Job Dialog Box dialog box will be the default values of the Create Job dialog box.

   For items that you can customize the default value, see 10.6.2(2) Customizable items.

3. Change the default value and click the OK button.

   The default value of the Create Job dialog box is changed.

(2) Customizable items

The following tables describe customizable items and the default value for each page in the Customize the Create Job Dialog Box dialog box.

• Destination page

  This item in the Create Job dialog box is always set to Unicast distribution regardless of the default value setting when the job type is either Transfer package to relay computer or Send package, allow client users to choose.

  You can specify a value if Split package and then distribute is selected in the Split distribution settings.

• Collect File page

  You can specify values for the following items in the Detailed Options For Remote Collection dialog box that appears when you click the Details button.

• Acquisition Target - System Information page

  This page corresponds to the Acquisition Target page of the Create Job dialog box, which is displayed when the job type is Get system information from computer (UNIX).

  System information	Acquire only items modified after the last time that system information was acquired.

• Search Target - Software Information page

  This page corresponds to the Acquisition Target page of the Create Job dialog box, which is displayed when the job type is Get software information from computer (UNIX).

  You can specify a value if you select All software in the Software to be searched drop-down list.

• Schedule page
