Notes when logging in to the IdP for the first time and changing the IdP settings
User operation for initial setup# may be required when a new user registered in the IdP logs in for the first time or changes the settings of the IdP.
#: User operation for initial setup includes setting up multi-factor authentication, changing passwords, and setting user attributes.
If the IdP authentication screen is displayed when logging in to the JP1/IT Desktop Management 2 operation window, follow the instructions.
Authentication may fail if the initial settings of the user used for the Remote Install Manager, the Packager, and the Network Access Control commands authentication are not completed. In this case, log in to the JP1/IT Desktop Management 2 operation window and check.
Web browser limitations when using Microsoft Entra ID
If you use Microsoft Entra ID to authenticate the user, you cannot use the Internet Explorer and the IE mode of Microsoft Edge as web browsers. Use the native mode of Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, or Mozilla Firefox for accessing the operation window of the JP1/IT Desktop Management 2.
