A possible cause is one of the following:

An invalid item is used.

The definition of the job is invalid.
For example:
- The specified item does not exist.
- A date that does not exist is specified as the execution date.
- A reference to inherited information is formatted incorrectly.
Check the definition and encoding of items and jobs that reside in the installation directory.

When an item or job definition is registered or saved as a file, the string specified in the text box contains a single-byte symbol.
The following single-byte symbols are converted into a number of characters (bytes) that are not one byte in length:

If they are converted with a different number of characters (bytes) and the total length of the string exceeds the possible number of characters (bytes), this message can be displayed. Use a string that does not exceed the possible number of characters (bytes) to register the definition or save it as a file again.
