3.5 Files to back up
If you are performing an upgrade installation or migrating the system environment, first back up the definition files as needed, then upgrade the product or install the environment in the migration target. After installation, restore the backed-up definition files.

If the migration source and migration target have different OSs, the location for storing the restored files may vary. See the table below to check the location for storing the files before executing the restoration.

The default value of installation-folder is system-drive:\Program Files\Hitachi\JP1AJS2PO.
In the 64-bit version of Windows, read Program Files as Program Files (x86).

Replace PATH with %allusersprofile%\Hitachi\JP1\JP1_DEFAULT\JP1AJS2PO. The default value of %allusersprofile%\ is system-drive:\ProgramData.

In cases of 11-50 or later versions, an English default format definition file will be automatically provided at the time of installation. Back up the format definition file if you have changed it from its default state.

A folder protected by the system is the path to a folder in any of the following:

The default value of %allusersprofile% is system-drive:\ProgramData.
