The job confirmation request to the agent process for job execution control has failed. The probable causes are:

• Memory was insufficient. (reason-code = 0xe00a0002)

• The agent host has stopped. (reason-code = 0xe00a0007)

• The JP1/AJS3 service on the agent host has stopped. (reason-code = 0xe00a0007)

• For communication between the manager host and the agent host, an attempt was made to use address families that are not able to communicate with each other. (reason-code = 0xe00a0007)

  Example: Communication was attempted when the name resolution result for the manager host was an IPv4 address only and the name resolution result for the agent host on the manager host was an IPv6 address only.

• The agent host name is invalid. (reason-code = 0xe00a0008)

• The JP1/AJS3 service on the agent host is starting or terminating. (reason-code = 0xe00a0009)

• The error was caused by the agent host. (reason-code = 0xe00a000d)

• The communication protocol is not supported. (reason-code = 0xe00a000e)

• No job exists on the agent host. (reason-code = 0xa00a0005)

• The request was rejected on the agent host by the connection source restriction function. (reason-code = 0xe00a0017)

Use the integrated trace log to check whether a KAVUxxxx or KNACxxxx message was output before or after this message. If it was output, also see the explanation provided in that message.

If the destination port mapping function is enabled, a port number is output for maintenance-information. Make sure that the destination port is correctly specified. If an error occurs before the function obtains the destination port, 0 is output as the port number for maintenance-information. If the reason code is 0xe00a000d, indicating that the error was caused by the agent host, also check the integrated trace log for the agent host.

If the reason code is 0xa00a0005, indicating that no job exists on the agent host, the JP1/AJS3 service on the agent may have been restarted during execution of the job. In this case, the job was terminated forcibly.

If no other message has been output and you cannot determine the cause, use the data collection tool to collect data, and then contact the system administrator. Data must be collected on both the manager host and the agent host.
