JP1 Version 13 JP1/Automatic Job Management System 3 Messages

KAVT8511-E

The user mapping (JP1-user-name) at the agent (agent-host-name) failed.

User mapping performed on the agent host failed.

(S)

Cancels processing.

(O)

The probable causes are:

  1. On the agent host, an incorrect manager host name is specified as the server host name of the JP1 user.

  2. In the user mapping definition on the agent host, the relevant JP1 user has not been registered.

  3. There is no JP1 user whose name is the same as the OS user who executed the ajsentry command.

  4. An OS user specified in the detailed job definition is not mapped with the JP1 user.

  5. The JP1 user who owns the job and the JP1 user who registered the job for execution are different.

  6. Memory is insufficient.

  7. If Executed by is User who owns and Owner is blank in the detailed job definition, an OS user whose name is not registered as a JP1 user is set as the account to start the JP1/AJS3 service on the manager host.

For the preceding causes 1 to 7, take the corresponding actions 1 to 7 shown later, and then re-issue the request:

  1. Set a correct manager host name as the server host name of the JP1 user.

  2. In the user mapping definition on the agent host on which to execute the job, register the JP1 user name indicated by JP1-user-name in the message, and then map the JP1 user with an OS user.

  3. Take either of the following actions, and then re-execute the ajsentry command:

    - Add a JP1 user with the same name as an OS user, and then map the JP1 user with the OS user.

    - In the job definition, specify the user who owns the job as the user who executes the job.

  4. Check the OS user specified in the detailed job definition. Then, on the agent host on which to execute the job, map that OS user with a JP1 user.

  5. Decide which type of user executes the job, the user who owns the job or the user who registers the job for execution. Then, set the selected type of user correctly.

  6. Check the memory usage and re-estimate the memory requirements.

  7. In the user mapping definition, register the JP1 user indicated by JP1-user-name in the message. Alternatively, in Windows, make sure that an OS user with the same name as a user who is registered as a JP1 user is set as the account to start the JP1/AJS3 service on the manager host.
