The obstacle status of the exec-agent (exec-agent-name:exec-host-name) was changed to unconnectable status.(logical-host-name) maintenance-information

Because a communication failure was detected for an execution host, the status of the execution agent indicated by exec-host-name was changed to Unconnectable.

Note that, if the execution host is a physical host, JP1_DEFAULT is output for logical-host-name.

(S)

Changes the status of the execution agent to Unconnectable, and then executes the subsequent processing.

(O)

The probable causes are:

  • The execution host name cannot be resolved.

  • The maximum number of file descriptors that can be used by the agent monitoring process was reached.

  • No ports are available on the manager host.

  • The execution host has stopped.

  • JP1/AJS3 is not running on the execution host.

  • A firewall rejected the connection.

  • The port numbers set by using the destination port mapping function are incorrect.

Remove the causes of the communication failure. Then, wait until recovery of the indicated execution agent is confirmed by a communication recovery check. Alternatively, use the ajsagtalt command to change the status of the execution agent to Not checked.

If the destination port mapping function is enabled, a port number is output for maintenance-information. Make sure that the destination port is correctly specified. If an error occurs before the function obtains the destination port, 0 is output as the port number for maintenance-information. For details about destination port mapping function, see 2.12.2(4) Destination port mapping function in the JP1/Automatic Job Management System 3 System Design (Configuration) Guide.
