A log file (file-name) error occurred. : maintenance-information-1 (maintenance-information-2)

An error occurred during processing required to open or write to the log file indicated in file-name.

  • If this message is output during startup of the JP1/AJS3 System Control Manager service or JP1/AJS3 System Control Agent service, the system continues startup of the service. However, no log data is output to the log file indicated in file-name.

  • If this message is output while the processing to stop the JP1/AJS3 System Control Manager service or JP1/AJS3 System Control Agent service is in progress, the system continues the processing. However, no log data is output to the log file indicated in file-name.

  • If this message is output while processing a request from the client or manager host, the system continues to process the request. However, no log data is output to the log file indicated in file-name.

Take one of the following actions:

  • If No such file or directory is indicated in maintenance-information-1, the log file indicated in file-name might have been deleted. Check whether the log file exists. If it does not exist, restart the JP1/AJS3 System Control Managert service or the JP1/AJS3 System Control Agent service.

  • If Permission denied is indicated in maintenance-information-1, write and read permissions for the log file indicated in file-name might have been changed. Make sure that the user who started the JP1/AJS3 System Control Manager service or JP1/AJS3 System Control Agent service has permission to read and write the log file indicated by file-name, and then restart the service.

  • If any message other than the above is indicated in maintenance-information-1, correct the error according to the message, and then restart the JP1/AJS3 System Control Managert service or the JP1/AJS3 System Control Agent service.

If you cannot correct the problem by taking the above actions, contact the system administrator, and then collect data (see 1.2.3 To the system administrators).
