16.2.7 Details on the Retention Status of Jobnets with Start Conditions dialog box

The Details on the Retention Status of Jobnets with Start Conditions dialog box can display the names of the top-five root jobnets with start conditions that have most execution generations when the Start aggregation button is clicked.

The following figure shows the Details on the Retention Status of Jobnets with Start Conditions dialog box.

[Figure]

When you click the Start aggregation button, aggregation of retentions starts. The aggregation results are saved, and the saved aggregation results can be deleted by clicking the Delete aggregation status and results button.

When you select a jobnet name and click the Job Portal button, the List screen of the Job Portal opens. You can perform operations on the jobnet in this tab.

If there are many execution generations, you can perform batch cancellation of displayed execution generations. To perform batch cancellation, perform job operations from JP1/AJS3 - View or the Job Portal. For details about the operation procedure in JP1/AJS3 - View, see 9. Controlling the Execution of a Jobnet and Jobs. For details about the operation procedure in job portal, see 15. Job Portal of the Web GUI. If there are retained root jobnets, review the operational conditions, if necessary.

The following table lists the items displayed in the Details on the Retention Status of Jobnets with Start Conditions dialog box.

If the status is "Currently aggregating", the dialog box displays the latest aggregation status at a 30-second interval. Note, however, that the latest aggregation status might not be displayed if the aggregation status is changed by another user or if an operation is performed at a specific timing. In that case, display the dialog box again.

Cautionary notes
  • If there are many generations on the scheduler service, it might take some time to aggregate.

  • If you interrupt a counting process on a manager host in a Windows environment, the resources used by the counting process might not be released. Therefore, we recommend that you do not interrupt the aggregation process except in an emergency. If you interrupt the aggregation process on a manager host in a Windows environment, you must restart the OS.

  • If you interrupt the aggregation process on a manager host in a Linux environment, End time does not appear in Aggregation status.
