11.12.2 How to create an icon image
You can create icons to be displayed in JP1/AJS3 - View windows and dialog boxes.
This section describes how to create an icon image.
- Organization of this subsection
(1) File format that you can specify for an icon image
You can specify a gif format for the image.
(2) Software to be used
Use graphics software that can edit the gif files.
(3) Icon image size
The maximum sizes of icons are as follows: 32 x 32 (in pixels) for an icon displayed in the map area of the Jobnet Editor window or Jobnet Monitor window and 16 x 16 (in pixels) for an icon displayed in the tree and list areas of each screen.
If you display an icon of 32 x 32 (in pixels) in the map area, there is no space between the created icon and an adjacent icon when it is displayed in the icon list of the Jobnet Editor window. It is best to create the icon of 30 x 30 (in pixels) with at least one-pixel space around the icon in the drawing area.
(4) Setting the status color area
The system displays status display colors (red for termination with detection of an error, pale green for normal termination, etc.) by filtering a specific color (RGB value 255:102:255) in a program. Therefore, you have to specify the specific color for a part displaying the status display color. In addition to parts set to RGB value 255:102:255, parts set to the following RGB values change colors according to the status display color.
No. |
RGB value (red:green:blue) |
---|---|
1 |
255:204:255 |
2 |
255:102:255 |
3 |
255:51:204 |
4 |
204:51:204 |
5 |
204:51:153 |
6 |
102:0:51 |
- Supplementary note
-
The smaller the RGB value No. becomes, the paler the status color becomes. The larger number the RGB value No. becomes, the darker the status color becomes.
Specify a transparent color for a part you want to display in a transparent color.
You can use 256 colors. Even if you use 256 colors or less, colors set by the graphics software cannot be displayed by JP1/AJS3 - View correctly in some cases, depending on the display setting and the palette to be used. Check that set colors are displayed correctly by JP1/AJS3 - View.
(5) Icon image name
The names that can be assigned to icon image files are fixed. For these names, see (8) Icon images you can create as required.
(6) Destination to save default icon image
The following shows the destination to save default icon image:
JP1/AJS3 - View-installation-folder\image\AJSView
JP1/AJS3 - View-instalation-folder\image\custom
(7) Location to save an icon image file created as required
User-created icon image files must be saved in the following folders:
JP1/AJS3 - View-installation-folder\image\extend\user-specified\AJSView
JP1/AJS3 - View-installation-folder\image\extend\user-specified\custom
Use the appropriate folder depending on the type of user-created icon image files. For details, see (8) Icon images you can create as required.
- Supplementary note
-
Japanese characters cannot be used in user-provided folder names.
(8) Icon images you can create as required
The table below lists the file names of icon images that can be changed from the default icon image. If no user-created icon image file is assigned, the default icon image will be displayed.
