10.3.1 Highlighting preceding and succeeding units
In the following windows, you can highlight the preceding unit and succeeding unit of a specified unit:

Jobnet Editor window

Jobnet Monitor window
To highlight the preceding and succeeding units:

Select a base unit in the map area of the Jobnet Editor window or Jobnet Monitor window.
The icon of the unit you clicked is now selected.

From the View menu choose Highlighted Display, and then choose a command from the submenu.
Choose one of the following commands:

Only Preceding
The base unit and preceding unit, and a relation line drawn between them, are shown in their respective highlight colors. All other units, and relation lines other than with the preceding unit, are dimmed.

Only Succeeding
The base unit and succeeding unit, and a relation line drawn between them, are shown in their respective highlight colors. All other units, and relation lines other than with the succeeding unit, are dimmed.

Preceding and Succeeding
The base unit, preceding and succeeding units, and relation lines drawn between them, are shown in their respective highlight colors. All other units, and relation lines other than to the preceding and succeeding units, are dimmed.

In the Preferences dialog box, you can set highlight colors for the base unit, its preceding and succeeding units, and the relation lines between them. For details, see 12.3.42(3) Editor/Monitor page.

By double-clicking a unit in the list area, you can display its preceding and succeeding units and relation lines in their respective highlight colors in the map area. For details, see 11.5.11 Changing the operation performed when a unit in the list area is double-clicked.

Units that do not have a preceding or succeeding relationship with the base unit are dimmed in the map area but shown at normal color level in the list area.

You can customize the color level of units that do not have a preceding or succeeding relationship with the base unit, and relation lines between those units, when preceding or succeeding units are highlighted in the Jobnet Editor window or Jobnet Monitor window.
