9.3.2 Restoring the changed execution start time of a jobnet

To restore the changed execution start time of a jobnet:

  1. In the JP1/AJS3 - View window, in Function Menu, click Status Monitor.

    Status Monitor is now selected.

  2. In the tree area, click the job group that manages the jobnet for which you want to restore the previous execution start time.

The job group you clicked is now selected.

The root jobnet appears in the list area.

  3. Click the root jobnet containing the target jobnet, choose View, Daily Schedule, and then Hierarchy.

The Daily Schedule (Hierarchy) window appears.

  4. In the tree area, click the target jobnet.

The jobnet you clicked is now selected.

  5. In the schedule area, for the jobnet selected in step 4, click the colored mark whose changed execution start time you want to restore. Alternatively, in the execution result list, click the line of which changed execution start time you want to restore.

  6. Choose Operations, Change Plan, and then Release Change.

A dialog box appears to confirm that the changed execution start time of the jobnet can be restored.

  7. Click the Yes button.

The changed execution start time of the jobnet is restored.

The colored mark in the schedule area moves back to the original position before the change.

The change is also reflected in the execution result list.

Cautionary notes
  • You can restore the changed execution start time for jobnets whose status is Wait for start time, Wait for prev. to end, or Being held (that is, jobnets that have not started yet), and nested jobnets that have an end status. Note that for a rerun root jobnet, you cannot restore the changed execution start time even if execution of the root jobnet has not started. If you restore the changed execution start time of a completed nested jobnet, the restoring the changed execution start time will apply when the nested jobnet is re-executed.

You can also use the ajsplan command to restore the changed execution start time of a completed nested jobnet, specifying the jobnet's execution ID or execution registration number.

  • You cannot perform the following operations for a release-target jobnet:

    - Cancel a changed execution start time defined for a jobnet in Being applied status, and then specify an execution start time that is later than the release date.

    - Cancel a changed execution start time defined for the jobnet in Release wait status, and then specify an execution start time that is earlier than the release date.
