6.1.3 Restoring the settings

(1) Restoring JP1/IM - EG for NNMi setup information
This subsection describes restoration of the JP1/IM - EG for NNMi settings.
Before you restore from a backup of JP1/IM - EG for NNMi, you must first restore JP1/Base. Prior to restoring backup files to their original locations, make sure that all the following conditions are satisfied:

JP1/IM - EG for NNMi and JP1/Base have both been terminated.

JP1/IM - EG for NNMi and JP1/Base were both installed and the cluster setup command has already been executed (applicable in the case of cluster operation).

JP1/Base was set up in a logical host environment (applicable in the case of cluster operation).

The shared disk is online (applicable in the case of cluster operation).

(2) Restoring common definition information
In addition to restoring backup files, you must also restore common definition information.
To restore common definition information on a set-up host, execute the following command to temporarily delete the common definition information for JP1/IM - EG for NNMi.
- Physical host:
jbsunsetcnf -i -h JP1_DEFAULT -c JP1EG4NNMI
- Logical host:
jbsunsetcnf -i -h logical-host-name -c JP1EG4NNMI
Note that the logical host name must be correctly specified with lower or upper case as specified when the logical host was set up.
Execute the following command:
jbssetcnf name-of-backup-file-backed-up-in-6.1.2(2)

If the logical host in question is used in a cluster system, execute the command on both the primary node and the secondary node. The backed-up common definition information must be restored on both the primary server and the secondary server.
