An attempt to write data to the user profile failed.

S:

Stops writing data to the user profile and restores the previous status of the user profile.

Continues processing without updating the settings in the manager.

O:

In the Preferences window, reconfigure the user environment.

Also check the following items:

• Is sufficient disk space allocated?

• Is sufficient system physical memory and virtual memory allocated?

• Does a file with the same name, not a folder (directory), exist in the paths below?

• Is access permission set for any of the folders (directories) in the paths below?

  In Windows:

  - Physical host:

  - Console-path\conf\console\profile

  - Console-path\conf\tmp

  - Logical host:

  - shared-folder\jp1cons\conf\console\profile

  - shared-folder\jp1cons\conf\tmp

  In UNIX:

  - Physical host:

  - /etc/opt/jp1cons/conf/console/profile

  - /etc/opt/jp1cons/conf/tmp

  - Logical host:

  - shared-directory/jp1cons/conf/console/profile

  - shared-directory/jp1cons/conf/tmp

If the problem cannot be resolved, check the following OS log items to determine if a shortage occurred with OS resources such as file descriptors.

• In Windows: Windows event log

• In UNIX: syslog

If a resource shortage did not occur, use the data collection tool to collect data, and then contact a system administrator.
