1.3.2 Notes on Integrated Operation Viewer Window
-
If you attempt to simultaneously display seven or more charts in the Trends tab of the Integrated Operation Viewer window, it might take time to display the charts depending on the number of concurrent connections set on the Web browser.
-
By setting the Web browser, you can configure windows invoked from the Integrated Operation Viewer window (Repeated event list window, and linked products' windows invoked from the Monitor button) to open in a new tab or a new window. If you use Chrome as the Web browser, these windows always open in a new tab.
You can set the Web browser as follows:
Open in a new tab (In Firefox)
-
In Firefox, select Options, Tabs, and then Open links in tabs instead of new windows.
-
In Firefox's address bar, enter about:config. In the displayed list of settings, search for browser.link.open_newwindow.restriction.
-
Change the value of the setting browser.link.open_newwindow.restriction to 0.
- Open in a new window (In Firefox)
-
In Firefox, select Options and Tabs, and then clear Open links in tabs instead of new windows.
-
-
For user-defined characters, the following characters, and certain control codes (see Table 1-2 Target Control Codes ), characters may be garbled on-screen displays or may not be treated as such characters.

-
Integrated operation viewer does not support JIS level 3 and level 4 characters. If you use these characters on JP1/IM - View, garbled characters may occur, resulting in incorrect operation.
-
If you use environment-dependent characters in the definitions that you set with integrated operation viewer, garbled characters may occur in the definitions, so do not use them.
