8.5 Registering into the cluster software during new installation and setup (for UNIX)
To apply cluster operation to JP1/IM - Manager during new installation and setup, you must register JP1/IM - Manager , JP1/Base and JP1/IM - Agent on the logical host into the cluster software, and then set them to be started and terminated by the cluster software.
Start services in the order of resources, JP1/Base, JP1/IM - Manager and JP1/IM - Agent.
There is more than one JP1/IM - Agent service. To prevent these services from starting and stopping at the same time, set up dependencies. The order of starting and stopping the services is arbitrary.
Also, set up dependencies to start JP1/IM - Agent service after the logical IP address resource and shared-directory are ready.
The services covered by JP1/IM - Agent are: registered only the services to be used to the clusters.

After you register the clusters, you do the following:
-
Start
Start the service with the following command:
/opt/jp1ima/tools/jpc_service_start -s service-key -h logical-host
-
Stop
Stop the service with the following command:
/opt/jp1ima/tools/jpc_service_stop -s service-key -h logical-host
-
Forced stop
Stop the service forcibly with the following command:
/opt/jp1ima/tools/jpc_service_stop -s service-key -h logical-host -f
-
Operational monitoring
Check the status of the service with the following command:
systemctl is-active service-key#_logical-host-name
- #
-
Set the corresponding value below as the service-key.
