(a) Prerequisite Services and conditions
The prerequisite services and conditions for operation corporate with the auto-scale function are as follows:

The following describes the prerequisites for operation corporate with the auto-scale function.

It is not possible to target Logical host in a clustered environment.

The system should not exceed 2500 units including the manager host.

After scale-out or scale-in, you must create and reflect system configuration information. For details, see 2.19.2(11) Creating and importing IM management node tree data (for Linux) (mandatory).

(b) Create a Virtual Machine Image (AMI)
Following are the steps to create a virtual machine image (AMI).

Install JP1/IM - Agent.
In this case, select the installation mode [Create image]. For Detail, see "1.5.2 Pre-Installation Tasks".

(c) Creating a Auto Scaling Boot Setup
Following are the steps to create a Auto Scaling boot Setup.

Open the [Amazon EC2] console from [AWS Management Console].

Click [Boot settings].of [Auto Scaling]in the left navigation pane.

Click [Create a boot settings].

Select the virtual machine image (AMI) created in step 1 from the [Select AMI] window.

In the [Detailed settings] window, select [by Text] from [Advanced details] - [User data] and write the following in the text box.
