(1) Language Settings for integrated agent
Integrated agent operates in the following language settings:

For Windows

The defaults for national language OS are used.

Character codes when JP1/IM - Agent processing is started
It operates in the same character code as the language of OS.
Character codes of the log that JP1/IM - Agent process-outputs
Outputs as a UTF-8 cord.
For OSS, it depends on OSS spec.
The language of the logs that the JP1/IM - Agent process outputs

JP1/IM agent base
In the case of a Japanese environment, it operates in Japanese.
For non-Japanese environments, it operates in English.

Scripts, etc.
Always works in English.
For OSS, it depends on OSS spec.
Character codes that can be used in JP1/IM - Agent definition files

The following LANG can be specified:

Defaults to ja_JP.UTF-8.
The character encoding for starting the process is described in LANG of unit definition file. For details on how to configure the settings, see 2.10.1 Changing the locale of integrated agent host in the JP1/Integrated Management 3 - Manager Administration Guide.
Character codes of the log that JP1/IM - Agent process outputs
This is the same as for the above Windows.
The language of the logs that the JP1/IM - Agent process outputs

JP1/IM agent base
If a ja_JP.UTF-8 or ja_JP.utf8 is specified as the character encoding when JP1/IM - Agent process is started, it operates in Japanese.
In environments other than the above, the machine operates in English.
