Updates the execution environment or the database for the specified HCSC server. The repository is also updated simultaneously if the version of the operating environment repository is an earlier version.
By setting up the default HCSC server name in the HCSC-Manager command definition file, you can omit the specification of the server name in this command.
For details on how to use this command, see the following locations in the Service Platform Setup and Operation Guide according to the purpose of use:
-
To upgrade the repository in the development environment
Appendix G. Migration from an Old Version
-
To upgrade the repository in the operating environment
Appendix H. Performing Repository Migration from an Old Version in the Operating Environment

Notes
-
An error might occur if you perform a rolling update when the database is HiRDB. For details, see Appendix G.4 Migration procedure for a rolling update in the Service Platform Setup and Operation Guide.
-
If the command ends with an error, eliminate the error and then re-execute the command.
-
If a file I/O error occurs while the repository is being updated, the message KEOS50133-E might be output when you re-execute the command. In such cases, see 7.6.2 How to perform recovery when file input and output has failed in the Service Platform Setup and Operation Guide, to manually restore the environment.
-
If the version of the operating environment repository is an earlier version, make sure that a drive on the following directories has free space of at least 3-times the disk usage for the repository:
-
Installation directory of the service platform
-
Directory specified in the CSCMNG_HOME environment variable
-
