4.1 Window structure (Operating environment)
This section describes how the windows used in the operating environment are organized.
- Menu bar

This is Eclipse's menu bar. The menu specific to the operating environment is HCSC-Manager.
- Tree view
-
The tree view displays the icons that indicate the system configuration managed by the HCSC-Manager and the managed target (such as adapters and business processes). In the tree view, the icons displaying status are combined and displayed with the icons indicating management targets. The following table lists and describes icons displayed in the tree view:

Indicates one of the following:

active status for an HCSC server

active status for a service adapter or database adapter
Indicates inactive status.
Indicates shutdown status.
Indicates undeployed status.
Indicates an acquisition error.
If you select the management target in the tree view and right click, the context menu opens and you can perform operations for the management target.

- Editor area

This editor is used for displaying and operating the information of the management targets displayed in the tree view. The following table lists and describes the types of editors:

Each tab displays one of the pages listed in Table 4-2 next to the editor names.
- Console view

Log information is displayed here.
In the console view, log information is displayed in the following format:
yyyy/mm/ddΔhh:mm:ssΔapplication-nameΔmessage-IDΔmessage-text (Δ indicates a single-byte space.)
The application name is displayed as follows:

For logs of window operations: Plug-in

For log information from Manager: the Manager name that was specified at setup
If the message to be displayed exceeds 64 KB, 4KB of the oldest message is deleted in rows.

- Shortcut

In the tree view and dialog boxes, if you press a key that is the same as the character with an underline such as (G) while pressing the Alt key, you can select the management target.
