1.12.3 Pasting objects
You can paste copied or cut objects (activities, connections, fault connections, link connections and comments) to the canvas of the business process screen or to other applications.

(1) How to paste
The following describes the methods to paste objects to the pasting destinations canvas and other applications:
- For canvas

Use one of the following paste methods:

With no activity selected, right-click anywhere in the canvas, and choose Paste.

Press [Ctrl] + [V].

- For other applications

Press [Ctrl] + [V].
(2) Paste result
Depending on the object, the paste results differ as follows:

When you paste, a simple check is carried out and in case any inconsistency occurs in any activity or connection, a warning message is generated to the console view. For details about the contents of consistency checks for each activity ad connection, see "5.6 Defining Activities" in "Service Platform Basic Development Guide".
(a) Paste results for when you cut or copy an activity or comment
The contents of the activity that can be pasted from a copy or cut source differ depending on the paste destination. The following table lists the difference in activity and comment contents that can be pasted according to the paste destination:

Activity or comment definition information
Only names of variables, correlation sets and link names can be pasted. Therefore, if definition does not exist in the pasting destination, reference status becomes invalid.

Cannot be defined at the copy destination.

However, if you want to copy scope activity or while activity, activiry on the canvas is pasted.

If mapping defined editor is open while you execute copy or cut operation, pasting is done with the edited contents.

You can also paste the variable information that you defined and the activity defined in canvas.
(b) Paste results for when you cut or copy a connection
From the defined information of a connection, any link and variable names can be pasted. Therefore, if definition does not exist in the pasting destination, reference status becomes invalid.
