4.4.8 Points to be noted when using CGI programs on UNIX

(1) Execution permission
In CGI programs, the values specified in User and Group directives require execute permissions.
(2) Performance
For the worker MPM module, the increase in the cost of CGI process generation processing and performance degradation are proportional to the number of server threads.
Therefore, we recommend that you use the prefork MPM module if you run CGI programs.
