Notes
-
If this command is executed for a host of the Web system of Management Server model, an error will occur.
-
Note the following points when executing this command in a system using the load balancer and the CTM:
-
For systems using load balancers
The hosts of the copy source and the copy destination share the virtual server of the load balancer. Set up the host definition file for scale out, in such a way so that the range of the allocation rules of the server ID used with the load balancer is not repeated between the hosts.
-
For systems using CTM
The hosts of the copy source and the copy destination belong to the same CTM domain. When the CTM identifier is defined to the host of the copy source, the same CTM identifier is defined to the host of the copy destination, and therefore, there will be duplication of CTM identifiers in the CTM domain. However, we recommend that you omit the settings of the CTM identifier for the host of the copy source. When the settings of the CTM identifier are omitted, the CTM identifier is automatically set up for Management Server, in such a way so that the CTM identifier is unique between the hosts.
Note that when the CTM identifier is defined to the host of the copy source, execute this command, and set up a unique CTM identifier of the host of the copy destination to the CTM domain.
