4.7 Setting up the system for controlling load balancer from management functionality
Load balancer is a device that centrally receives requests from Web browser, and distributes those requests to each server by transferring those to multiple servers having the same functions. You can use load balancer to distribute the traffic efficiently, and thus improve the performance. You can control the load balancer from the management functionality in Application Server. You must use the Smart Composer functionality to set up the system for controlling the load balancer from the management functionality. You use the management portal to configure this system.
